Funeral services for Theodore “Teddy” Washington, 60, will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013 at St. Stephens Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery in St. Stephens, WY. . A Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 15th at St Stephens Catholic Church, a wake will follow at 750 Rendezvous Road.
Mr. Washington died November 11, 2013 at the Riverton Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 17, 1953, in Thermopolis, Wyoming, son of John Buckman and Patricia Leona Washington. He was a life long resident of Arapahoe, WY.
He worked at the Arapaho Ranch and for a short time in Salt Lake City, UT.
His family said that he enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the Casinos, art work, welding, watching western movies, practicing the Native traditions, taking drives and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Washington, Leona Buckman, Marian Buckman, Beatrice Buckman, Georgetta Revere. Elva Buckman, Elvina Buckman, Miranda Hanway, Rebecca Hanway and Vera Buckman; his aunts, Pansy Buckman and Zella Peka; his uncles, Thomas Buckman, Burt Addison and Cruz Peka; his nieces, Margaret C’Bearing, Patricia C’Bearing, Stephanie C’Bearing, Toni Alvarez, Coreen Addison, Leah Addison, Bobbie Mae Fox, Lillian Fox, Sarah Witt, and Leona Witt; and one grandchild, Adrian Addison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia Washington and John Buckman; his wife, Ina Mae Washington; his son Adrian Addison; his brothers, Alfred Buckman, Edward Buckman, and George Buckman; his sisters, Phillas Tillman, Betty Addison, Raniona White, Polly Hanaway, and Hogan Hanaway; his uncle, Carl Washington; and his grandson, Eli J C’Bearing.
