Shelby Lynn Hammack, 21, of Lander died Sunday, April 13, 2014 in Denver, Colorado unexpectedly from a seizure four days after giving birth.

A viewing will be Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm at the Davis Funeral Home in Riverton. Funeral services begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will take place following the service.

Shelby Lynn Hammack was born October 29, 1992 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Bryant Allan Hammack and Dana Marie Gillem. She grew up in Addison Michigan moving with her family to Lander, Wyoming in 2006. She graduated Lander Valley High School in 2010.

She worked at The Inn in Lander at the front desk. This job suited her as she enjoyed people.

Her family said that she loved being around friends and family making them laugh and was a positive person in their lives. She loved spending time with her fiancé Brandon and was really excited to become a mother and starting her own family. She enjoyed music and visiting with friends and family.

She is survived by her fiancé, Brandon Gagner of Lander; her new born son, Greyson Michael Gagner of Lander; her parents, Dana Osborne of Douglas and Bryan Hammack of Michigan; her sister, Amanda Hammack of Douglas; her brothers, Austin Hammack of Douglas, Scott Hammack of Michigan, and Jared Hammack of Michigan; her grandparents Raymond and Cathy Gillem, Minnie Gillem, Gail Hammack, and George Lee Hammack, all of Michigan; her great grandmother, Mary Stolicker of Michigan; her aunts and uncles, Denise and husband Scrooge Koch of Lander and Mike and Crystal Hammack of North Carolina; her fiancés parents, Juanita Gorda of Lander and Brad Gagner of Washington; and many good friends and family.

Memorials may be made to Shelby’s mother, Dana Osborne 2310 E Richards Street, Douglas, WY 82633, to help defer costs.
