Rick Alan Wilson of Vancouver, Washington, passed away on May 4, 2014. He was 41.
Rick was born on January 24, 1973 in Jackson, Wyoming, to his loving parents, Stanley and Louella (Devish) Wilson. Growing up in Wyoming Rick enjoyed outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, camping, skiing and snowmobiling. Rick loved to share these interests with his family and friends. Rick discovered his first passion in life of airplanes at an early age. He built this passion into a successful career at Alaska Airlines. Rick’s career fed his zest for life and adventure. With his wife by his side Rick travelled the world. Rick will always be remembered for his adventurous spirit, positive attitude and his love of the outdoors. May he always have a new horizon for which to aim.
He is survived by his wife Kara; son, Curtis A. Fackrell of Ft. Laramie, WY; and mother, Louella Wilson of Mesa, Arizona. his grandmother, Betty Devish of Riverton; his aunts and uncles, Karen and Dave Redfern of Riverton, Kurt and Debbie Devish of Ft. Bridger, WY, Pat and Keith Jones of Sheridan, Virginia and Lee Ratz of Colorado Springs, Ron and Kathy Wilson of Billings, Tom and Sharon Wilson of Riverton, Randy Wilson of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mike and Colleen Wilson of Riverton; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stan Wilson on June 5, 2013; his grandfather, Marvin Devish; and his grandmother, Phyllis Wilson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, at 11AM at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas, Washington. A reception to follow in Camas.
