Carlene Delight Headley, 53, of Riverton, died at her home on Monday, June 30, 2014. A viewing and rosary with a wake to follow will be at 219 Givens Road on Friday, July 4, 2014, starting at 7:30 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at 11:30 am at 219 Givens Road with burial to follow at Sharpnose Cemetery.
Carlene Delight Headley was born on November 17, 1960 in Riverton, WY to Carl Louis and Edith Mary (Sitting Eagle) Headley. She attended elementary school at Annandale Highland Park in Los Angeles, CA; she then attended Jr. High School at Luther Burbank in Los Angeles, CA. and then returned to Wyoming and attended high school at Lander Valley and Wyoming Indian. She received her G.E.D. in 1980.
In 1981, she married Glenn Addison, Sr. and began her own family.
She was of the Catholic faith.
She worked as a dishwasher and in housekeeping at the Casino. She was also a homemaker.
She lived in Laramie, Lander, Rock Springs, Denver, CO before settling in Riverton.
Her family said that she enjoyed reading, going to the Casino, and taking long walks. She loved visiting with her family and friends and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Everett Glenn Addison, Jr.; her daughters, Anjelicia Nicollette Addison Hernandez, Roxanne Gale Addison, and Chynna Cameo Rose Addison; her brothers, John Headley, Reno Headley, and Leonard Headley; her sister, Sandra Ann Headley Oldman; her aunt, Delight O’Neal; her eleven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Louis Headley and Edith Mary Sitting Eagle Headley; her daughter, Bernadette Candice Addison; and her uncles, Arnold Headley and Stewart Headley.
