Angelo "Hulio" Jenkins

Angelo “Hulio” Jenkins, 35, of Arapahoe, died at his home on Monday, July 14, 2014. A wake will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at 7:00 pm at the Blackburn residence located at 50 Miller Lane in Arapahoe. The funeral will be on Friday, July 18, 2014, also at the Blackburn residence. Burial will follow at the Blackburn Cemetery.

Angelo Jerome Jenkins was born on September 7, 1978 in Riverton, WY to Bernard Patrick and Brigitte Kim (Blackburn) Jenkins. He was raised on the Wind River Reservation and earned his G.E.D. from MN.

He was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when he was young. He was a member of the Native American Church and participated in their ceremonies.

He worked in carpentry before he became disabled.

His family said the he enjoyed listing to music, cooking “he made damn good fry bread”, working on cars and playing video games. He loved being with his mom, sisters, nieces and nephews. He traveled all over the west coast with his grandparents.

He is survived by his grandmother, Ruby Blackburn; his sisters, JoAnne Jenkins, Sacheen (Shawn) Brown, Donelle Littleshield, Macalia Blackburn, Dominique Littleshield, Shantell Blackburn, Yolanda Young, Jody Blackburn, Amanda Jenkins, Siera Young, Emily Underwood, and Terra Jenkins; his brothers, Myka Blackburn, D.J. Littleshield, Donovan Littleshield, Jamakee Blackburn, Hawk, Blackburn, Cody Blackburn, Ike Jenkins, Chato Lyday, Vernon Hill, Jr., Lloyd Jenkins, James Hill, Earl Hill; his aunts, Lupe Blackburn, Caroline Hill, Marie Lyday, Catherine Jenkins, Lucia Molash, Madeliva Blackburn, Michele Jenkins, and Claudia Jenkins; his uncles, Larry Blackburn, Clarence Jenkins, and Jude Jenkins, Sr.; numerous relatives near and far. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Brigitte Blackburn; his grandfather, Andrew James Blackburn; his grandparents, Lloyd Jenkins and Marjorie “Peggy” O’Neal; his brother, Lawrence Jenkins.
