Loretta May Eells, 86, of Riverton died July 19, 2014 surrounded by her family in a circle of love at the Help for Health Hospice Home after a short illness.

A visitation will be Tuesday, July 22, 2014, 6:00 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home with a Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, July 23, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at the St. Margaret’s Catholic Church with Father Demetrio Penascoza officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery and a luncheon following at the St. Margaret Catholic School Gymnasium.

Loretta was born May 24, 1928 to William Nyle and Laura Cecelia (Archer) Palmer. She lived the majority of her life in Riverton graduating from Riverton High School with the class of 1946.

Loretta married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Dewayne Eells of Shoshoni on September 2, 1950 in Red Lodge, Montana. The couple made Riverton their home except living in Thermopolis four years while Bob worked at the Chevrolet Garage. Together they loved to travel, camp, fish, garden and spend time with their family and many special friends.

She is survived by her daughers, Lynn (Mark) Romer of Riverton, Sue Hayden of Gillette; four grandchildren, Jake (Andrea) Hayden of Laramie, Brandon (Katie) Romer of Riverton, Jesse (Abby) Hayden of Gillette and Nikkie (Mark) Stricker of Billings, MT; six great grandchildren, Rylee and Mason Romer, Taylee Hayden, Kennedy and Kallyn Stricker and Christopher Hayden; brother, Merl Palmer of Denver; and cousin, John Cram of Cheyenne.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob; her parents, William and Laura Palmer; and her sister Mary Jean Dieleman.

Memorials made be made to the Homestead Assisted living or the Help for Health Hospice Home in care of the Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W. Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.
