Jack Coulston, 84, formally of Riverton, died in Lovell, WY at the New Horizons Care Center on November 6, 2014. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Mike Brumback officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Jack Coulston was born on November 21, 1929 in Wagner, OK to Clarence and Bertha Lahoe (Cassy) Coulston. He was one of five children and was raised in Oklahoma.
On June 3, 1950, he married Pauline Mae Kennedy in Florence, AZ. They raised six children together.
He was a member of the Assembly of God faith.
In 1955 they moved to Dubois, WY where he worked for the Double Diamond Ranch. He then worked for Louisiana Pacific as a millwright and in 1988 they moved to Saratoga for a short time before moving to Walla Walla, WA in 1992. When he retired in 1994, he and Pauline moved back to Riverton to enjoy their retirement years.
His family said that he enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Pauline; his sons, Melvin Coulston of Athol, ID and Rodney Coulston of Powell, WY; his daughters, Phyllis Gloy of Riverton, WY and Annie Crouse of Basin, WY; his brother, Daryl Coulston; his sisters, Edith Depew and Glenda Reslind and seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Bertha Coulston; his brother, JC Coulston; his son, Alvin Coulston; and his daughter, Jan Coulston.
Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibroses Foundation in care of the Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W. Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.
