Royce White, 79, of Pavillion, died at his home on Saturday, December 20, 2014. A memorial service will be held at the Pavillion Community Methodist Church on Saturday, May 23, 2015, 2:00 p.m. with a carry in dinner to follow.
Royce Allen White was born on June 21, 1935 in Aurora, West Virginia to Cecil and Mary Elizabeth (Fauber) White. He was one of six children and was raised in Aurora. He graduated from Aurora High School with the class of 1953.
He was of the Methodist faith.
After graduation, he went to work for Ford Motor Company in Brunswick, OH. He became a negotiator for the United Auto Workers Union and held that position until he retired in 1993, after a total of 40 years with Ford.
After his retirement he moved to Pavillion, WY where he enjoyed the outdoors and small town life.
His family said that he loved hunting, fishing, boating, horseback riding, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, watching sports and auto racing. He also loved to vacation and went to many different places.
He is survived by his brother, Robert White and his wife, Gayle of Pueblo, CO; his sister, Shirley Didawick of Harrisburg, VA; his brother in law, Richard Moyers of Staunton, VA; his sisters in law, Lynda White of Kinnear and Delores McCutheon of Mt. Vernon, OH; and one grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mary White; his two daughters, Diane and Kim; his sister, Ellen; and his brothers John Thomas, Edwin, and James.
