David Williams, 24, of Riverton and Shoshoni, died on Saturday, January 3, 2015. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Davis Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Funeral services will be Friday, January 9, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at the Bridgeland, Utah Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will be at the Bridgeland Cemetery.

David Henry Williams was born on August 20, 1990 in Roosevelt, UT to Scott Henry and Camille (Allred) Williams. He moved to Riverton in 1995 from Spirit Lake, Idaho.

He graduated from Riverton High School with the class of 2009. He then attended Casper Community College, receiving his A.S. in General Studies and started his degree in Child Education with emphases on Physical Education, from the University of Wyoming.

He was baptized into the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints faith.

While he was growing up in Riverton, he worked at the swimming pool as a lifeguard and also taught swimming lessons. When he was in Casper attending college, he worked for Sherman Williams. In May of 2014, he started working for A. Stuck in Shoshoni, refurbishing the rail cars.

His family said that he loved outdoor sports, skiing, snowmobiling, and hunting. He loved to make people laugh, was tight with his friends, loved his family and kids, and lived life to its fullest.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Kassie Croce and her daughter, Cedar, of Shoshoni; his parents, Scott and Camille Williams of Riverton; his brother, Jason Scott Williams and his wife, Nichole and their son, Raiden, of Riverton; his grandparents, Bob and Saundra Allred of Roosevelt, UT and Charles Williams of OR; his close father figure, Tim Horrocks of Shoshoni; Kassie’s mother, Tyler Sharpston of Shoshoni; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Williams; and his grandparents, Jean McCoy and Dale Hammons.

Memorials may be made to the David Williams Memorial Fund in care of the Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W. Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.
