Inez Lawson, 97, of Riverton, died on Monday, January 05, 2015, at Westward Heights Nursing Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015, at 2:00 pm at Davis Funeral Home with Father Allen Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Inez Marie Looney was born on December 29, 1917 in Buffalo, MO to Thomas G and Mary Amanda (Lauderbaugh) Looney. She was one of six children raised in Buffalo, MO.
On March 26, 1936 she married Jim Lawson in St. Louis, MO. They had two sons, Wayne and Max. They later divorced.
She moved to Riverton, WY in 2001 from Bullhead City, AZ. She previously lived in Las Vegas and several communities in Wyoming.
She enjoyed crocheting and other crafts.
She is survived by her sons, Wayne Lawson and his wife, Deannetta, of Riverton, WY and Max Lawson and his wife, Patty, of Riverton, WY; and numerous grand and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, her grandson, Mark Lawson, and all of her brothers and sisters.
