Raymond Carl Compton, 77, of Riverton died at home on Friday, February 6, 2015, of natural causes. No services will be held.
Ray was born on February 19, 1937 to Alvena Compton. He graduated from Riverton High School in 1956.
He never did marry. He decided he wanted to experience as much as possible in his life. He lived in a number of places and had a number of different occupations. But in the end he came back home to live out the rest of his life in Riverton.
He loved to work in his yard and garden. He also loved to read and decorate.
He is survived by his brothers, Edward Large and Dale Large; his sister, Debbie Reilly; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alvena; his brother, Ruben Large; and his sisters, Cleo Beckman, Kathy Leva, Nora Kissle, Virginia Large and Cheryl Large.
