Sean K. Secrist, 46, of Lander died Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Sage West Hospital in Riverton. A celebration of Sean’s life will be held in the spring of 2015.
Sean Kelley Secrist was born April 27, 1968 in Santa Anna, California to Joseph Allen and Avis Marie (Olsen) Secrist. He grew up and attended schools in the Missoula, Montana area. He moved to Wyoming from Richmond, Virginia 15 years ago residing in Lander.
His family said he was of the Christian faith, was a good friend and worker. He had a close relationship with his sister who said they had good memories growing up outdoors in the country, by the water, and going to the mountains. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He especially loved his two Chihuahuas Toby and Alley. They were his life.
He is survived by his sister, Monica Secrist of Riverton; two nephews, Cameron and Preston Isom; two great nieces, Kira and Quinn; his mother, Jan Secrist; and his companion Ralph Randolph of Lander.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph A. Secrist on Jan. 26, 2014; his mother Avis Secrist; and his brother, Matthew.
