Pauline Gordon, 79, of Ethete, died at her home on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Sunnyside Church of Nazarene in Kinnear.
Pauline Helen Rodgers was born on May 30, 1935 in Riverton, WY to Paul Earnest and Rachelle Janett (Murphy) Rodgers. She was raised in the Riverton area with her three sisters and three brothers. She attended school in Riverton and graduated from Riverton High School.
On April 19, 1952 she married Stanley Russell Gordon in Riverton, WY.
She was a cook at Lander High School, Wyoming Indian Elementary School, and at the Commons Restaurant in Lander.
She attended the Sunnyside Nazarene Church in Kinnear, WY.
Her family said that she loved to crochet and knitting.
She is survived by her son, John Gordon and his wife Cindy; her daughters, Peggy Norris and her husband Tom and Sherri O’Brien and her husband Chris; her brothers Robert Rodgers, Max Rodgers, and Danny Rodgers and his wife Kathy; her 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and her 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Rachelle Rodgers; her husband, Stanley Gordon; her three sisters; and her great grandson, Justin Norris.
