Marillyn J. Baraksa died Oct. 11, 2015, at age 78 at the SageWest Hospital in Riverton.
She was Born Oct. 19, 1936 to Donald A. and Viola F. Terpstra (Heifner) in Des Moine, Iowa.
Marillyn Baraksa graduated from Twin Falls Idaho High School in 1955 and moved to Milwaukee Wis., then to Chicago Ill. where she spent most of her adult life with her first husband Donald Kabler and second husband Steven Baraska, both of whom preceded her in death. In March of 2009, she moved to Riverton to help care for her sister.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers Donald Terpstra , Thomas Terpstra and Willard Terpstra.
She is survived by her sister, Roberta “Bobbie ” Yennie of Riverton, brother Ronald Terpstra of Pleasanton, Calif. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place at her request. Her ashes will be returned to Chicago for interment with second husband Steve Baraska.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Oct. 23 at Davis Funeral Home, followed by a visitation period for family and friends in the Owl Creek Room at the REACH Center.
