Anne Poff, 91, of Riverton, died on Sunday, December 6, 2015, at the Sage West Hospital – Riverton. A Visitation of Family and Friends sharing memories will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015, at Davis Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Anne Patricia Patterson was born on October 15, 1924 in Sheridan, WY to Robert Patrick and Helen Christine (Newbigging) Patterson. She grew up in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School.

On August 8, 1944, she married Bob Poff in Laguna Beach, CA. In 1966, the couple moved to Alaska until they moved to Riverton in 1988.

Anne worked as a Telephone operator in both Sheridan and Alaska. She then worked as a cook on a ship during the cleanup for the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill. She and her husband owned and operated Bob’s Kenai Lake Lodge for 18 years in Alaska.

Mrs. Poff loved spending her time reading the Bible. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, and was known for her delicious Cinnamon Rolls at Bob’s Kenai Lodge. She also enjoyed her duties as a homemaker and seamstress.

Survivors include her son, Robert (Kate) Poff; daughters, Roberta (Albert) Hobbs, Robin (Fred) Harrington, Anita (Red) Lobdell, Maranna Kiser, Rebecca (Bob) Koski; numerous grand, great grand and great great grandchildren; sister, Helen Edwards.

Mrs. Poff was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Lonnie and son-in-law, Hilmer Kiser.
