Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Dana Trujillo Memorial Fund for Layla's education, in care of U.S. Bank.
Dana was born on July 25, 1977, in Socorro, New Mexico, daughter of John and Laura L. (Wilson) Trujillo.
She graduated from Socorro High School. She moved to Riverton in 2012 from Greeley, Colorado. Dana worked as a Bar Tender at River City for 2 years and for the past year at Rocky Mountain Liquor. Her family said that Dana really enjoyed bar tending and being able to socialize with different people.
Dana had a passion for fishing and was an avid Oakland Raiders fan. She also enjoyed watching plays at Central Wyoming College and different movies. She was a great cook but her specialty was bar-b-queing. She loved the color purple, butterflies, and owls. She loved gardening and had one every summer no matter where or what she was doing, it might have been small but she had one. She loved kids and had many friends. She was a “people person” that everyone loved to be around.
Survivors include her mother Laura Lang of Cody, Wyoming; daughters, Heather Trujillo of Westminster, CO, Ariana Garcia of Socorro, NM, twin daughters, Anasti and Amaya Hernandez of CO; son, James Trujillo of Socorro, NM; sister, Erika Hoffman and her husband, Max Cooper of Limon, CO; 1 grand daughter, Layla Haley; her partner, Elise Pagnoni; her ex-husband, Chris Montano; 4 nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
