Graveside services for former Riverton resident Leona M. Parrish will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton. The Pastor Aaron Justice will officiate.
Mrs. Parrish died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at the home of her son, Bobby Price, in Dresden, Maine. She was 75.
Leona Roden was born in Iowa on Jan. 1, 1933, the daughter of Velma and Raymond Roden. She was a life-time resident of Wyoming.
On June 9, 1978, she married Leland "Bud" Parrish in Shoshoni. They later made their home in Riverton. An avid reader, her family said Mrs. Parrish also enjoyed crocheting, Puzzles, and spoiling pets.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Parrish, in 2000, and one son, David Price in 2006.
She is survived by one son, Bobby R. Price and his wife, Michelle, of Dresden, Maine; one step-son, Richard Parrish and his wife, Doretta, of Idaho; one step-daughter, Frances Parrish, of Arizona; three grandchildren, Torrey Price, Melanie Price, and Mykle Price, and many nieces and nephews.
She was followed in death this year by a brother, Joe Roden of Riverton.
