A Memorial Service for Felix Carrillo, 89, will be held Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the family home. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Mr. Carrillo died on February 17, 2016 at his home in Riverton, Wyoming surrounded by his family.
He was born April 14, 1926, son of Salvador and Mercedes (Castaneda) Carrillo.
On May 20, 1948, he married Rosina Mena in Mexico.
He loved his ranch and simply being a cowboy. Felix spent his entire life taking care of his cows on his ranch. His grandkids and great grandkids were what made him smile the most. Even if he was having a bad day, they would brighten it.
Survivors include his sons, Arturo Carrillo and his wife, Petra, Abelardo Carrillo and his wife, Kathy; daughers, Mercedes Hartman and her husband, Cap, Elva Eells, Rosalinda Walters and her husband, Richard, Araceli Cleveland and her husband, Tom and Bertha Carrillo; brothers, Salvador Carrillo and Alvaro Carrillo; sisters, Consuelo Carrillo and Maria Carrillo; 28 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Mr. Carrillo was preceded in death by his wife, Rosina; son, Anselmo “Chemo” Carrillo; brothers, Anselmo and David Carrillo; sisters, Rosario and Guadalupe Carrillo; son-in-law, Paul Eells.
