Gloria Jean Wolff was born on March 23, 1928 in Moneta, WY to Charles E. and Bobbie (Skopek) Wolff. She grew up in the Moneta and Shoshoni area with her sisters and brothers.

On September 18, 1946 she married her husband Earl Peacock. They lived in Casper, Roosevelt, UT, and Shoshoni before settling in Riverton where she had lived for the past 40 years. They had two daughters and where married for 55 years before Earl passed on 12/27/2001.

She was co-owner of Peacock Trucking until her husband passed. She was one to never just sit around so she volunteered for many different organizations and was always seen out and about town. Some of her volunteer work was with the United Methodist Women, the Historical Society, Homemaker Club, Hospital Gift Shop volunteer, American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, Lifetime member of PTA and State President, Girl Scouts, 4-H, and Natrona County Roc Hounds. If someone needed a volunteer all they had to do was call Gloria and she was there. Many groups will miss one of their most reliable volunteers.

She also loved to do crafts, traveling, camping, and gardening. And she loved her constant companion, Tessie, her dachshund dog.

She is survived by her two daughters, Bobbie J Huffman and her husband Bill and DeElda “Dee” F. Kiever and her husband, Jim; eight grandchildren, Earl “Pogo” (Chris) Blevins, April (Paul) Ellsworth, Daryl (Norma) Chastain, Teresa (Shane) Dickson, Jim (Danelle) Gunderson, Kevin Kiever, Kim (Corey) Dyess, and Shannon (Don) Curtis; eight great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
