Services will be held to honor Shirley Hermann, on her birthday at 10:00 am Monday April 4th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as she joins her beloved husband in the hands and heart of her beloved Father in Heaven. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Her passing on March 16, 2016 was supported by her children and the kind staff of Help for Health Hospice Home.
Shirley Mae Hendricks Hermann, born April 3, 1932 in Gillette, Wyoming to Wallace and Edith Wilamena (McClendon) Hendricks. As one of the last surviving graduates of the class of 1950 of Campbell County High School, she went on to get a degree in Special Education and taught throughout Fremont County School systems until her 82nd year of life.
In 1949 she met the love of her life, Charles Frank Hermann, they married and stayed hand in hand for 63 years.
Devoted to her Spiritual family of the LDS Church, Shirley also leaves a vast array of devoted students and members of the BPW (Business & Professional Women), where she lead the professional organization for nearly 20 years. Shirley leaves a legacy of generosity and compassion and will be missed by hundreds of friends and family.
Her message to each of you; GOD BE WITH YOU TILL WE MEET AGAIN
She is survived by her children: Charles & wife Peggy Hermann, Duane Hermann, Charla & Husband John Tarwater, Judi & Husband Stuart Cain, Shanna and Husband Art Barerra, as well as son Kevin and wife Hallie Hermann. She leaves behind over 60 grandchildren throughout the country.
Preceded by her parents, and all of her siblings, Shirley was the last Matriarch of her family.
