Funeral services for Ernest Oldman, Sr., 48, will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2016 at Great Plains Hall with Father Phil Wagner of St. Stephens Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12th at Great Plains Hall with a wake to follow.

Mr. Oldman died at his home on June 8, 2016.

He was born on July 9, 1967 in Riverton, Wyoming, son of Lawrence and Maria (Brown) Oldman.

He graduated Valedictorian of his class from St. Stephens Indian High School. In high school he was in track and ran the mile in 3:57.

Ernest worked in direct sales, construction, and manual labor.

His family said that Ernest was a loving and caring family provider and enjoyed spending time with his family and taking care of his children. He loved to attend auctions, he always had a great time at them. In addition he always kept the homes he had in his rental business up to high standards by doing the electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and landscaping himself. His family said that above all he was a humble person who cared a lot about people.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Felter; sons, Blaine Oldman, Arvin Felter, Ernest Oldman, Jr., Quentin Oldman, Quadian Oldman, Marcus Oldman and Jeremy Oldman; daughters, Priscilla Oldman, Jewell Felter, Larissa Oldman, Alissa Oldman, Ernestine Oldman, LaTonya Bell and Alexis Bell; brothers, Steven Oldman, Sr. of Harbor Srpings, Virgil Oldman, Curtis Oldman and Steven Oldman, of Alabama; sister, Valerie Friday and family, Luella Monroe and family, Terry Teran and family, Pamela Six Feathers and family, Benita Smith Darrell Smith and family, and Lou Oldman and family; aunts, Eva Mead and family, Flossie Brown and family, Darlene Lopez and family, Theresa Hanaway and family, Patty Hanaway and family, and Kathryn Rigley and family; uncles, Wayne Brown and family, Rueben Jenkins and family, Buddy Oldman and family, Dan Brown, Susanna Brown and family, Paul Hanaway and family, and Darrell Hanaway and family; grandchildren, Blaine Oldman, Jr., Olivia Goggles, Vivian Thompson, Austin Warren, Ariah Felter and Tristan Her Many Horses; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Oldman, Sr. and Marie L. Oldman; brothers, Lawrence Oldman Jr., Marcus Oldman, Thomas. Addison, Ernest Jenkins, Erin Teran; and Shane Montoya; sisters, Nellie Oldman, Crystal Dewey; nephew, Royce Kills on Top, Marcus (Donny) Oldman, Russell Oldman, Donavan Blackburn, and Joshua Dewey; niece, Jamie Bell; and granddaughter, Geena Oldman.
