Funeral services for Ernest Oldman, Sr., 48, will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2016 at Great Plains Hall with Father Phil Wagner of St. Stephens Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12th at Great Plains Hall with a wake to follow.
Mr. Oldman died at his home on June 8, 2016.
He was born on July 9, 1967 in Riverton, Wyoming, son of Lawrence and Maria (Brown) Oldman.
He graduated Valedictorian of his class from St. Stephens Indian High School. In high school he was in track and ran the mile in 3:57.
Ernest worked in direct sales, construction, and manual labor.
His family said that Ernest was a loving and caring family provider and enjoyed spending time with his family and taking care of his children. He loved to attend auctions, he always had a great time at them. In addition he always kept the homes he had in his rental business up to high standards by doing the electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and landscaping himself. His family said that above all he was a humble person who cared a lot about people.
