Scharyle Bowman, 83, of Riverton died on Monday, July 25, 2016, at the Help for Health Hospice Home following complications from a fall. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Scharyle Milburn was born on August 20, 1932 in Arcadia, NE to Cecil and Maude (Bryson) Milburn. When she was two years old the family moved to Wyoming. She and her sister, Marguerite, grew up in Riverton where she graduated from Riverton High School.
On October 10, 1953 she married Leonard Bowman in Rapid City, SD. Together they had one daughter.
She worked at Ben Franklin in Riverton before she went to work for Mr. D’s when it first opened in Riverton. She was Mr. D’s non-foods manager for 22 years until her retirement.
She enjoyed raising flowers, rock hunting, fishing, and spending time in the mountains. Above all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Gina Blumenshine and her husband, Herman; grandsons, Jake Blumenshine and Jared Blumenshine; great grandchildren, Hayden Blumenshine, Brodie Blumenshine, Kylee Blumenshine, and Brailee Blumenshine; her niece, Jolene Scheer and her husband, Vernon, nephew Tom Hammer; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Maude Milburn; husband of 50 years; and sisters, Marguerite Barquin and Eloise Milburn.
