Ronald “Ronnie” Kierig, 62, of Kinnear, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 25, 2016. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date in the San Diego, CA area.
Ronald E. Kierig was born on October 1, 1953 in Lander, WY to William and Doris (Robison) Kierig. He grew up in Lander and graduated from Lander High School.
After graduation he moved to Salt Lake City, UT where he lived for a few years before settling in the San Diego, CA where he lived for over thirty years. In 2013 he moved back to Wyoming to be closer to his son and grandson.
He is survived by his son, Jarrid Kierig and his wife, Jen of North Dakota; grandson, Jordon Kierig of USMC; brothers, Bob Kierig and his wife, Sue of California, Mike Kierig and his wife, Pat of Texas, and Steve Kierig and his wife, Nora of Texas; sister, Susan Walter Kierig of California; and sister-in-law, Shirly Kierig of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Doris Kierig; wife, Rueleen Kierig; brothers, Don Kierig and Bill Kierig; and sister, Shannon Kierig.
