With her loving family around her, Donna Lopez died at Casper Medical Center in Casper on Sunday, February 12, 2017. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at Davis Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, February 17, 2016, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Donna Kay Vigil was born on July 15, 1956 in Riverton, WY to Frank Vigil, Sr. and Norine Ann (Duran) Vigil. She grew up in Riverton with her five siblings. She graduated from Riverton High School with the class of 1974. She lived and worked in Riverton her entire life.
She was married to Henry Lopez and they had two sons, Eric and Christopher.
She worked as an office manager at several local businesses and was a valued employee where ever she worked.
She loved making tamales, gardening, her cats, and helping people. She opened her heart and home to everyone that Chris and Eric brought home. She was mom to everyone and was loved by all.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Lopez; sons, Eric Robert Lopez and Christopher Lee Lopez; mother, Norine Ann Vigil; brothers, Frank Vigil, Jr., Michael Vigil and wife, Kay, and Peter Glenn Vigil; and her sisters, Katherine Schatza and husband, Tom, and Marilyn Marie Vigil.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Vigil, Sr.
