A Memorial services for Sandra Lee Hovander, 71, will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2017 at Davis Funeral Home with Bishop Spencer Smith of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officiating. Cremation has taken place.
Mrs. Hovander died on February 20, 2017 at her home in Riverton, Wyoming.
She was born on September 18, 1945 in Great Falls, Montana, daughter of Leo and Aline (Curtis) Dess.
On October 22, 1961, she married Dale Wesley Hovander in Riverton, Wyoming. After Dale was discharged from the United States Air Force, the couple moved to California, where Dale fueled airplanes at the airport. The couple moved back to Riverton after 6 years in California to help with his family’s tire shop business. They then owned S & D Enterprises and Fairwinds, Co.
Sandra enjoyed getting her hair and nails done, reading, and tending to her yard and garden. She was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved to work on her genealogy. She was very interested in learning about her family history.
Mrs. Hovander was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale Hovander August 16, 2015 and her grandmother that took care of her.
