Funeral services for Lynn Marlatt, 70, will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Davis Funeral Home with Craig Tolman officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. A viewing will be held 5-7 p.m., Monday, February 5th at Davis Funeral Home.

Mr. Marlatt died on January 31, 2018 at Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton.

He was born in Kimball, Nebraska on October 20, 1947, son of Donn L. and Billie (Milnes) Marlatt. Lynn graduated from Riverton High School before attending JETS Technological School.

On August 16, 1968 Lynn married Joyce Jerwart in Riverton, Wyoming.

Lynn worked for the Louisiana Pacific for over 25 years, where he was transferred to Tacoma, WA for four of those years. He returned to Riverton to help close down the mill. Lynn also worked several years as a drafter at D-H Print and then went to work for Tom Youtz managing TY’s Car Wash. He retired briefly to become a work camper, only to return to Ty’s Car Wash. He missed the interaction with his customers.

Mr. Marlatt enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, watching his family at stock car races and camping.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Marlatt; son, Dave and wife, Jodi Marlatt; daughter, Dawn and husband, Rob Heller all of Riverton; sisters, Sandi and husband, Wayne Stover and Debbie and husband, John Larson; 3 grandchildren, Cole and Chantelle Marlatt and Brody Bynon; and 4 furry grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
