Mrs. Jerry D. Robinson, 80, of Riverton died Saturday, March 17, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Jerry D. Robinson was born June 10, 1937 in Bassett, Nebraska to Art and Evelyn (Gordon) Anderson. She was the oldest of all her siblings: Chuck Anderson, Gene Anderson, Kenneth Anderson, Robert Anderson and Jackie Montgomery. Jackie Montgomery is the only surviving sibling.
She was married to Darrell Olson and through that union daughter Dawn Summer Olson was born. The couple later divorced. On December 30, 1966 she married Daniel A. Robinson, Sr. He passed away in 2004.
Jerry was very loving especially with her animals and people. She was instrumental in starting the Toys Express for children of Fremont County which she oversaw for many years and received the Governor’s Award for her dedication. Her family said she enjoyed every moment of the work she put into Toys Express.
Jerry was a hard worker having worked as Woolworths, Koffee Kup, and the Nursing Home. She also worked at Bass Lake and Boysen Lake cleaning camping areas.
Her family said she loved hunting and fishing, especially at Lake of the Woods. She also loved her church family at Under Command Ministries.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn and her beloved husband Miles Holliday; three granddaughters, Tera Holliday and significant other, Elfido Rico, Tawny and Levi Waldrop, AshLee Boucher Reinke; 12 great grandchildren, Anthony and Kane Blueford, Thomas Holmes, Endaka Blueford, Tatem Holmes, Tia Bangs, Temryn and TeraLee Keele, Lane and Wyatt Reinke, Miles and Myley Holliday – Rico and another grandchild due in May; one great great granddaughter, Adeline Rose Blueford.
