Albert Joe Lucero, 90, of Riverton, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the Wind River Rehabilitation and Care Center. A funeral service is scheduled at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Albert Joe Lucero was born on April 28, 1928 in Riverton, WY to Eufracio and Domitilia (Cordova) Lucero. He grew up in Riverton with his twelve siblings. He attended schools in Riverton.
He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed studying the Bible and loved being a Christian.
He lived in Riverton his entire life. He worked for the City of Riverton as a laborer.
Albert enjoyed riding his bike, doing yard work, and had a great sense of humor. You could always count on seeing him walking around town and sharing a conversation with you.
He is survived by his brother, Luke Lucero and sister-in-law, Joan Marie Lucero of Williamsburg, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, James, Ray, Rueben, Manuel, Mathew, John, Ernest, Eleanor, Mary, Delia, and Eulalia.
