Elia Marie Sabo, 90, passed away on May 26, 2018 at her home in Hudson. Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Hudson Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the Hudson V.F.W. Post in care of Davis Funeral Home would be appreciated.
Elia Marie Sabo was born May 18, 1928 in Superior, Wyoming to Tony L. and Celestina (Asti) Munari.
She grew up and went to elementary and high school in Superior and graduated in 1946. She married Frank Sabo January 21, 1950 in Rock Springs, Wyoming. They lived in Superior for two years and moved to Hudson in 1952. She cooked for the Hudson Elementary School for 19 years retiring in the 70’s.
Elia enjoyed babysitting her grandkids and never said, "No", when they wanted to stay with Grandma; fishing, hunting, camping, embroidery and traveling with her husband Frank. She loved getting to see all of her great-grandchildren. She and Frank followed her girls, then grandchildren, and later great grandchildren to all their events all over the state.
Elia was a member of the Hudson Home Crafters, a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband Frank; daughters: Amy (Dale) Hamilton and Cindy (Tony) Spriggs; grandchildren: Jill (Wayne) Robertson, Brady (Brandi) Hamilton, Jared (Jenny) Hamilton, and Lance (Cori) Hamilton; great grandchildren: Lara and Sophie Robertson, Lilly and Kaleb Hamilton, Cadence, Sadie and Greyson Hamilton, Samantha, Braxton and Braydon Hamilton; and 2 nieces and 3 nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Levia Bosco and Doris Lukac, and her brother; Harry Munari.
