Paul Sponheim, age 39, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in San Diego, CA surrounded by his family. Funeral services for Paul will be held at St Margaret’s Catholic Church at 10:00AM on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, with a rosary on June 11th at 7:00PM at Davis Funeral Home.
Paul John Sponheim was born October 3, 1978 in Lander, WY to Bruce and Mary Sponheim. Paul attended St Margaret’s Elementary School and Riverton Middle and High Schools. Paul graduated from Riverton High School in 1997. After high school he attended Collins College in Tempe, AZ for Graphic Design. In 2004 Paul moved to San Diego, CA where he worked for Hyundai Translead as an Assistant Manager in Human Resources.
Paul enjoyed horticulture/gardening, playing guitar, and spending time with family and friends. Paul was well liked by everyone he came in contact with and always thought about others before himself.
Paul is survived by his mother, Mary Sponheim of Riverton, brother, Chris Sponheim of Frederick, CO, uncle, Steve Moran of Shoshoni and cousins Katie, Andy, Tom, Christy, and Scott.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Sponheim, grandparents Steve & Isabelle Moran and Selmer & Kathleen Sponheim and aunts & uncles.
Memorials may be made to St Margaret’s Elementary School.
