A Funeral Mass for Veronica Minerva Reyes, 26, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 8th at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church with a wake to follow at 43 Oberg Lane.
Ms. Reyes died on October 4, 2018 at her home in Thermopolis, WY.
Veronica was born on January 14, 1992, daughter of David A. Reyes and Juanita R. (Lincoln) Reyes.
She attended the St. Stephens Indian School and High School. Veronica worked as a housekeeper and cage vault at the Casino.
Veronica loved her children immensely and loved to spend time with them along with her family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping, reading, and writing stories as well as laughing, telling jokes and making others smile. She spent time attending pow-wows and making new friends. Veronica was a very helpful person and always thoughtful of others.
Survivors include her father, David Reyes; son, Kailoki Oldman; daughter, Leiloni Oldman; brothers, Skyler Reyes and Jeordin Reyes; sisters, Jenelle Reyes, Neock Reyes, Trayla Reyes and Victeria Reyes; niece and nephew, Jordan Bell and Lianna Bell; grandparents, JoAnn Little, Patton Brown, Alta and Alfred Reyes and Lucy Willow; aunts, Camille Lincoln, Antoinette Harris, Irene Denny, Nora Tabaho, Sandra Foust, and Valarie Reyes; uncles, Byron Lincoln, Gary Lincoln, Larry Makeshine, Mark Reyes, Matt Reyes, Daniel Reyes, and Nick Reyes; special friend, Michael Mariner; longtime friend and father of Veronica’s children, Talon Oldman; other family members and cousins including the families of Lincoln, Reyes, Oldman, Harris, Tababo, Denny, Makeshine, Redman, Willow, Soldier Wolf, and Deweys.
