Jonathan "Jock" Cross
Lifelong Wyoming resident Jock took his final flight on November 30, 2018. A celebration of life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday June 29th at the Cross Ranch. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Help for Health Hospice in Riverton, Wyoming.
Jock was raised on the Cross Ranch outside of Dubois and graduated from Dubois high school.
Jock's profound sense of adventure led him down many entrepreneurial paths from owning the Bum Steer bar in Laramie, a hardware store in Dubois, motels, and other business ventures to a long career in real estate. The adventurous spirit also showed up in his love of cars, chariot racing, four-wheeling, and above all his love of flying. Jock was an extremely talented pilot with countless hours logged in his trusty 1967 Cessna 182. He was a true friend, a generous spirit, a great father, and a greater grandfather.
He is survived by his sister Lisa Cross Albright, his son Jason Cross, his grandson Nathan Cross, his nieces Megan Albright, Krizinne Cross, nephews AJ Albright, Ronald Cross, and Donald Cross Dailey.
