Christine K. Pena, 33, of Riverton, WY and formerly of Washington State passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Cremation has taken place no services are planned.
Christine Kaye Pena was born January 21, 1986 in Toppenish, Washington to Javier Gonzales Pena and Tonya Johansen Mireles. She grew up in the Catholic faith as a child. She attended grade schools in Grandview, WA and Prosser, WA for middle and high school.
Christine worked for the Riverton Holiday Inn and the Beauty Salon in Kent, WA. She has lived in Riverton as various times for three years as well as Granger, Prosser, Grandview, Kent, Seattle, WA, and Forest Grove, OR.
She enjoyed art, painting, and doing makeup. She’ll be remember for her feisty personality.
She is survived by her spouse, Eric Garcia of Forest Grove, OR; daughters, Mariah Denise and Layla Grace Garcia; parents, Tonya and Agustine “Till” Mireles, Javier Pena; grandparents, Charlene Johansen, Dominga Pena; brothers, Adrian Pena, Anthony Pena, and Eric Pena. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Michael Johansen and Ovideo Pena. Memorials may be made to Help for Health Hospice in care of the Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W. Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.
