A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fremont Center on Friday, August 30, 2019, at 2:00 pm. After the service, the family would like everybody to hang out, tell more stories so we can keep on remembering her for the great, caring, loving, giving person she was.

Jacqueline Mae Baltes was born on January 30, 1962 in Riverton, WY to Dale Monroe and Jeanette Joyce (Glandt) Baltes. She attended grade school at Jackson Elementary then on to Riverton Junior High School and graduated from Riverton High School with the class of 1980. She attended Central Wyoming College earning her Associates Degree in Accounting.

On November 20, 1981 Jackie married Tom Hughes in Riverton, WY. Together they had two sons, Blaine and Lyle. Jackie was a lifelong resident of Riverton and loved the town and its people.

Jackie worked for BTI as the office manager for the last 29 years and knew everyone there and greeted them daily with her beautiful smile.

Family was everything to Jackie, her boys and grandchildren took priority in her life and she loved them with everything she had. Jackie was caring and very giving of herself and her time, she always took care of everyone and their needs before her own. She loved to cook and made sure everyone ate even if they weren’t really hungry, again the caretaker. Her biggest passion was car shows and she loved cars especially hot rods.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Hughes; sons, Blaine Hughes and friend, Gwenith Wachter and Lyle Hughes and wife Jordan; grandchildren, Hadlee, Dryson, Lawson, Declyn, Zoey, and Hollis; and brother, Rodney Baltes and wife, Alleta and their family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Jeanette Baltes.
