Memorial services for Marilyn Jolene Bond, 81, who passed away on March 30, 2020 at Wind River Rehab and Wellness in Riverton, Wyoming, will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
Marilyn was born on October 8, 1938 in Bunker Hill, Kansas, daughter of Samuel and Delores (Sprinkle) Langhofer.
She was married to John Glen Bond until he passed away on June 26, 1975.
Throughout her life, Marilyn worked for the Kansas Telephone Company, Singer Sewing Machine Company, J.M. McDonalds Clothing and Maddux Well Service. She also spent time working for AM Well Service, Welltech Oil, Katherine Gray and Wyoming Job Service/Unemployment. She lived in Kansas for 28 years, 5 years in Nebraska and her final 48 years residing in Riverton, Wyoming.
Marilyn was a member of the Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics, pottery and gardening as well as snowmobiling and cooking.
Survivors include her son, John D. Bond of Atlanta, GA; significant other, Gradon Schmidt of Riverton; brother, Sam Langhofer of Benton, KS; sisters, Janice Jack and Carolee Robie both of Russell, KS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Glen Bond; parents; brother, Ronald Langhofer and sister, Joyce Langhofer.
