Jim W. Robinson passed away July 11, 2020 in Casper, Wyoming. He was 81.
At his request there will be no services. Cremation has taken place.
Jim was born March 21, 1939 in Tribby, Oklahoma, the son of Calvin Robinson and Beulah (Baker) Robinson.
Jim spent some time in Alaska while serving during “Peacetime” in the Army. He was a cowboy in his younger years and worked on many ranches in Texas and as a meat processor in Hobart. Soon after he began a lifelong career in the oilfield, and traveled many places. Jim spent 40 + years living in Shoshoni, Wyoming before moving to Casper. He loved his family and enjoyed time visiting with family and friends sharing hunting and fishing stories. He loved hunting, fishing, packtrips in the mountains, his mules, gardening, BBQ’s and beer. Jim knew many people from all walks of life.
Jim is survived by sons, Jim Robinson (Fran) of Marbleton, Wy., Billy Robinson (Kim) of Casper, Wy.; step son, Shawn Orgaard (Donette) of Gillette, Wy.; daughter, Debbie King (Mike) of Oklahoma City, OK.; brothers Estes of KS and Johnny of OK and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Donna Robinson; brothers, Calvin, LeRoy, Carl, Alvis and Allen; sisters, Bessie and Shirley; first wife Alice (Orman); wife Joan and stepdaughter, Darcey Orgaard.
