Dorothy Sitting Eagle, 67, of St. Stephens passed away at the Help for Health Hospice Home on Wednesday, September 09, 2020. A wake will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday, September 13, 2020, at 336 Great Plains. The graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, September 14, 2020, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Cemetery.
Dorothy Andreal Sitting Eagle was born on January 8, 1953 in Riverton, WY to Anthony Gabriel and Odelia Ann (Behan) Sitting Eagle. She was a lifelong resident of the Wind River Reservation.
She was baptized into the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church.
She enjoyed doing puzzles and coloring pictures.
She is survived by her brothers, Linus, George, Silas, and Aloysious Sitting Eagle; sisters, Leanna Sitting Eagle, Reubena Aguliar, Susan Sitting Eagle, Emily Surrel, and Vianna Behan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Odelia Sitting Eagle; Steven Sitting Eagle, Clement C. Sitting Eagle, Sr., William A. Sitting Eagle, Gerald D. Sitting Eagle, Letticia M Sitting Eagle and Felicia L.M. Sitting Eagle.; and grandparents, Lena Arthur, George Behan, Stephen Sitting Eagle, and Winnifred Sitting Eagle.
