Graveside services for Rachel Agnes Brown, 65, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at WallowingBull Cemetery. Ms. Brown passed away on November 6, 2020 in Denver, Colorado.
Rachel was born on December 5, 1954, in Thermopolis, Wyoming, daughter of Thomas and Martha (C’Bearing) Brown, Sr. She grew up in Thermopolis and Arapahoe and attended Central Wyoming College. She spent most of her life living on the Wind River Reservation but also spent a few years in Casper as well as Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Rachel was baptized into the Catholic faith.
Ms. Brown enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family as well as take care of her grandkids and great grandkids. She also loved the outdoors, camping, Pow Wows and Traditional Ceremonies.
Survivors include her sons, Thomas Brown, Martin Gutierrez, Sr., Cletus Moss, Weldon Moss, Felipe Romero and their spouses; brother, John Paul Brown; sisters, June Brown, Thersia Jones and numerous grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Tracey Brown, son, Bandelio Gutierrez, 8 brothers and sisters and numerous other relatives.
