Cody Adams

Feb 23, 1990 - Nov 7, 2020
Cody Lynn Adams passed away peacefully in his home on November 7th 2020 after a life long battle with congenital heart disease. Cody or “Cody Bear” as his parents like to call him, was born on February 23, 1990 to Bruce Lynn Adams and Elizabeth Maria Brown Adams. He was born in Riverton, WY and continued to live there until his final day. He completed traditional schooling in Riverton and graduated from Riverton High School in 2009. This was an incredibly proud moment for Cody and his parents. His childhood was a bit bumpy with multiple surgeries to try to repair his heart. Each day was a blessing, so high school graduation was very special. Cody stayed with his parents throughout his life. The 3 of them developed such a close relationship. His role in the house was to show Mom and Dad how to use the electronics. Cody really enjoyed playing on the computer and watching videos. He was an avid wrestling fan and watched it often with his dad Bruce. Cody worked at a few different places but the job that he really settled in was Walmart. He was a cashier for 6 years. Cody will be missed deeply by his parents, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and of course by the family dogs. Cody is preceded in death by his Grandfather and best friend Vern Adams, Grandmother Burdette Adams, and half-sister Lucy Lynn (Sunshine). Donations in Memory of Cody can be made to the Adult Congenital Heart Association, 280 North Providence Road, Suite 6, Media, PA 19063

Don’t Cry for Me Don’t cry for me, I will be okay Heaven is my home now and this is where I’ll stay Don’t cry for me, I’m where I belong I want to be happy and try to stay strong Don’t cry for me, it was just my time But I will see you someday on the other side Don’t cry for me, I’m not alone The angels are with me to welcome me home Don’t cry for me, for I have no fear All of my pain is gone and Jesus took my tears Don’t cry for me, this is not the end I’ll be waiting here for you when we meet again
