Private family services will be held for James “Jimmy Mac” Earl McMillan, 74, who passed away on November 14, 2020 in Riverton, Wyoming. Cremation has taken place.

Jim was born on February 12, 1946, in Glen Dale, West Virginia, son of James, Sr. and Freda (Johnson) McMillan.

James graduated from Cameron High School in Cameron, West Virginia in 1964.

On March 23, 1967, Jim married Karen Kuhn in Cumberland Gap, Maryland.

He was an active member as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses as a ministerial servant and Bible student and teacher.

Mr. McMillan worked as a dairy farmer in the 1960’s. He then worked as an underground coal miner in West Virginia for 10 years, then became a trona miner operating all underground mining equipment for Tata Chemical Co., near Green River, Wyoming for nearly 40 years.

Jim was a man very devoted to family and friends. He loved the outdoors, especially the Wyoming Mountains, hunting and fishing. He had a passion for horses, owning his own horses nearly all his life as well has having a dog companion.

Survivors include his wife, Karen McMillan of Riverton, WY; daughters, Tina Walker of Casper, WY, Michelle Pereira of Golden, CO, and Rachel Snyder of Wheatridge, CO; and seven grandchildren.
