Edith Roe, 80, of Lander passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at the Wind River Rehabilitation and Care Center. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Edith Pauline Reeves was born on October 12, 1940 in Holt County, MO to Robert C. and Hazel I. (Miller) Reeves. She grew up in Missouri and graduated from Savannah High School in Missouri.. She later moved to California and eventually 1980 to Lander, WY.
Edith co- owned and operated the K-Bar Ranch Campground. She also worked as a veterinarian technician for both Stock Doc and Dr. Richard Boulette. She later worked at the State School in Lander. WY.
On April 26, 1993 she married Robert Roe in Lander. They were married for over 27 years.
Edith loved all animals and at one time rescued an injured fox and nursed it back to health. Edith also had a special love for Arabian Horsed. She bred and sold Arabians in Fremont County.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Roe; daughters, Kim Adkins and spouse Scott Coons, and Leslie Larsen and spouse, Brian Flaherty; grandchildren, Tyler Adkins, Adrianna Adkins, Madilyn Larsen, and Abigail Larsen; great granddaughter, Zennabe Larsen; brothers, Jim Reeves and Rodney Reeves and wife, Susan; and sister Marie Hutson and husband, Mike.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Hazel Reeves.
