Cole Gordon, 24, of Shoshoni passed away at his home on Thursday, November 26, 2020. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cole Richard Gordon was born in Lander, WY on November 17, 1996. He grew up in Shoshoni and graduated from Shoshoni High School with the class of 2014.
Cole attended the Sunnyside Church of the Nazarene in Kinnear, WY.
He lived in Fremont County his whole life. He worked as a self- employed contractor and as a heavy equipment operator.
He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation. He could call turkeys with just his mouth, no apparatuses.
Cole enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved to braid paracord and leather, tying flies for fishing. His passion was his love of animals, turkeys, horses, chickens, and his cat “Sal”.
He is survived by his parents, Julie and Dennis Ballard; grandmother, Cindy Gordon; brothers, Mark Gordon and wife, Christina, Joe Cowart, Deyo Cowart and wife, Loni; and Don Cowart; sister, Kylee Cress Fullmer and husband Larry; niece, Pauline Gordon; nephew, Masyn Fullmer; uncles, Scott Gordon and wife, Pam, and Jess Gordon; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Gordon; niece, Cora Fullmer; and his great grandparents.
