As Riverton did not have a hospital yet, Doris Virginia Fuller was born at home to Lauchie Gilbert and Edna Leona Marlow Fuller on January 24, 1924. She attended school in Riverton, graduating in1942. She was a Methodist by faith.
She worked as a bookkeeper and clerk. She loved the outdoors, and spent many happy hours riding horseback on the mountain trails. She enjoyed wildflowers, wildlife, fishing and hunting. In later years, she liked to walk the prairies, accompanied by her faithful dogs.
Doris passed away on April 14, 2021, at Westward Heights Care Center. Surviving are two nephews, Ron (Joyce) Fuller, Howard (Faye) Fuller, and one niece, Barbara (Mike) Poulson, and their children and grandchildren. Surviving on the Novotny side are her nephews, Bob and Dave Novotny, Nieces Barb Lee, Nancy Novotny, Sue Breeden, Sharon Morton, and Mona Tofell. She had many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Alta Fuller, and brother Ivan Fuller.
