Mary Frances Gillpatrick died at her rural Riverton home on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at the age of 80.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton. The Rev. Father Dan Gannon will officiate.
Mary Frances Geraud was born at the family home in Riverton on May 14, 1928, the daughter of Jacques and Marie (Lavin) Gerard.
She was graduated from Riverton High School and then attended the Denver Beauty School. She returned home to open her own shop in Riverton working with Mary Casteel and Novella Whitlock.
In addition to working as a beautician, Mrs. Gillpatrick founded and ran the Ranch Kitchen in Riverton, then worked for the Riverton Senior Center for 14 years, delivering Meals on Wheels, Cooking, and helping with activities. She retired in 1988. Every other week, she hosted bridge at her home.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Her family said she enjoyed taking care of senior citizens and her family was important to her.
Survivors include a son, Russel Gillpatrick of Chehalis, Wash.; a daughter, Janette DeCoteau and husband Wesley of Riverton; grandchildren, Christopher DeCoteau of Riverton, Stacey Conley and husband Josh of Walla Walls, Wash.; great grandchildren, Josh Conley, Andromeda Conley, and Destiny Conley; a brother, Joe Geraud and his wife Betty of Riverton; niece, Tisha Hinkley and husband Bruce of Riverton; great nieces and nephews, Zack, Zoey, Zander, and Zandy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sheres Martinez; brothers, Jack and Pierre Geraud.
