Funeral services for Thomasine Frances Ridgely, 39, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Ridge Bear residence, 797A Ethete Rd with burial to follow at the Ridgely Family Cemetery. A Rosary will be held Monday, August 9th, at 7:00 p.m. with a wake to follow at the Ridge Bear residence.
Thomasine was born on April 8, 1982 in Lander, Wyoming, daughter of Eugene Joseph Ridgely, Jr. and Rowena Faith (Gosney) Ridgely and was raised on the Wind River Reservation.
She attended the St. Stephens Indian School, Arapaho School, Wyoming Indian High School and received her CNA License in the state of Washington. Thomasine worked for the Northern Arapaho Tribal Housing Center and White Buffalo Recovery Center Program.
Thomasine was a very artistic person who enjoyed beadwork and was an amazing seamstress.
Ms. Ridgely was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Survivors include her parents, Eugene Ridgely, Jr. and Rowena Ridgely; grandmother, Ruth Mary Goggles; sons, Kalen and Aiden Pogue; daughters, Isabelle Lucille Ridgely–Janis, Faith Sunshine Ridgely-Janis; brothers, Mike Ridge Bear, Dustin Ridgely, Sean Benjamin Ridge Bear, Vidale C’Bearing; families of Goggles, Moss, Spoonhunter, Oldman and Shakespeare.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Leo and Florence Gosney, Matilda and Thomas Oldman, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Euguene Ridgely, Sr. and Lucille Goggles Ridgely.
