David Dean Brown, Sr. 60 of Arapahoe passed away August 26, 2021 at Sage West Hospital in Lander.
Traditional Native American services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, at Andrew Brown’s residence 390 17 mile road, with graveside rites to follow at St. Stephen’s Catholic Cemetery. A wake will be held at 390 17 mile Road, starting at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
David was born August 12, 1961 in Riverton, Wyoming to Andrew Dean Brown, Jr. and Veronica (Warren) Brown. He grew up and went to school in St. Stephen’s, Wyoming. He lived most of his life in Fremont County, he was a catholic and also enjoyed hunting and fishing, reading, gambling at the casino, and Country Music.
He is survived by son: David Brown Jr., daughter: Stephanie Jean Brown, Grandchildren: Kyden Ridgely and Kyree Jayden Birdshead, Step son: Eldred Lee, step daughters: Deana and Melody Lee, brothers: Andrew Brown III, Vernon Brown and Alan Brown, Dominic Norse, Mathew Norse, Raymond C’Hair, Wayne Norse, Pocky C’Hair, Icky John C’Hair, Forest Headley, Steven Headley, And Leo Headley Jr., sisters Carol Norse, June Norse, Mary Katherine Underwood, Mary Ann Duran, Matilda C’Hair, Julie Mae Whiteman and Rose C’Hair, so many grandchildren have filled his heart as well as extended family members of the Brown, C’hair, Norse, Taylor, Wanstall, Yellowbear, Warren, Duran, Underwood, Blackburn, and Whiteman.
He was preceded in death by sister, Ruth Ann Brown, parents Andrew and Veronica Brown, John Thomas, Gary, Ambrose C’Hair. Nieces Melissa Brown, Ashley Norse, Keisha Brown and granddaughter Darlene Duran.
