A Celebration of Life for Ellen Frances Coleman, 74, will be held in Sinks Canyon at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 9, 2021. A potluck reception will follow at the Hudson Town Hall.
She passed away on October 3, 2021 at her home in Pavillion, Wyoming with family by her side.
Ellen, “Rowdy” was born on July 27, 1947, daughter of Allen E. and Catherine M. (Goglio) Keffer in Richmond, California. She graduated from Hayward Tenyson High School.
On June 13, 1982, Ellen married Bruce Coleman in Hayward Court. Ellen lived a happy life, mostly in California until she and Bruce took residency in Pavillion, Wyoming. Ellen loved many things in life. She enjoyed country music, classic movies, game nights, and arts and crafts. Mostly she loved her family. Ellen adored and loved to see her grandchildren smile. She would light up whenever they were around.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce Coleman of Pavillion, Wy; her mother, Catherine McDonald of Hudson, WY; daughters, Laurie Davis of San Lenadro, CA, Reyna (Dennis) Mitchell of Esparto, CA, and Felene (Amos) Coleman Riverton, WY; son, Wessley Coleman of Antioch, CA; brothers, Ted (Karen) Keffer of Iowa and Steve (Stacy) Keffer of California; sisters, Jackie (Bob) Logan of Wyoming, Donna (Don) Copper of Wyoming, Charlotte (Jim) James of Wyoming and Louise (Curtis) Barker of Wyoming; 5 grandchildren, Deandra, Santiago, Adrian, Angela and Laneena.
She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Keffer and sister, Carol Stortroen.
