No local services will be held for Warren Douglas “Doug” Lester, 73, who passed away on October 5, 2021 at Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton, Wyoming. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Doug was born on August 22, 1948, in Maryville, Missouri, son of Maurice Warren and Hazel Deloris (Howes) Lester in Maryville, Missouri.
In 1966, Doug graduated from Riverton High School before receiving his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Doug worked as an educator in Japan for over 30 years.
He enjoyed working on computers, reading and staying active on Facebook.
Survivors include his step-mother, Leda Lester of Riverton, Wy; brothers, Robert A. (Jo) Lester of Billings, MT, Roger N. (Julia) Lester of Salt Lake City, UT and Rodney E. (Rasila) Lester of Irvine, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Scott Lester and his grandparents.
