No local services will be held for Michael Lee Lewis, Jr., 45, who passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 in Riverton, Wyoming.
Michael was born on August 9, 1976, son of Michael Lee Lewis, Sr. and Rita (Weber) Lewis. He attended grade school in Burlington, Wyoming before attending high school in Greybull, Wyoming, where he graduated.
Mr. Lewis has spent the past 27 years living in Riverton, Wyoming. Michael worked for Lyle Black Construction on the reservation for the Tribal Council for the past 8 years.
He enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing and playing video games. Over the years, Michael won 3 cars at the Casino. Mr. Lewis was a member of the 1st Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Rita (Ron) Weber; father, Michael (Debra) Lewis, Sr.; his daughter, Taya Jay Lewis, whom he loved with all his heart; sisters, Michele Ann Foust; nieces and nephews, Cassie Foust, Tanner Foust, Kenny Lewis, Blake Davis, Amiah Bailey, Kamdyn York, Kamrynn York and Holden Foust.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Lewis; paternal grandparents, Kenneth J. Lewis, Jesslyn J. Lewis, Arvest C. Anderson, Kathy V. Anderson.
