No services will be held at this time for Philip Daniel “Dan” Stover, 67, who passed away on December 13, 2021 in Riverton, Wyoming. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Dan was born on October 11, 1954, son of Philip L. and Alta C. (Teneyck) Stover in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Boalsburg, PA, graduating from State College High School.
Following graduating, Dan served 16 years in the United States Marine Corps. Dan was an avid marksman who also enjoyed traveling and motor races such as stock car, Formula 1 and Nascar.
Survivors include his mother, Alta Stover; sons, Samuel Stover of Jacksonville, NC and Garret Stover of Riverton, Wyoming; daughter, Marissa Stover of Uriah, AL; brother, Gary Stover of Waterloo, NY; sister, Paula Martignetti of Seneca Falls, NY.
Mr. Stover was preceded in death by his grandparents, Samuel W. Stover and Sara Elizabeth Stover; father, Philip L. Stover and son, Tanner Daniel Stover.
